Bay Area SMACNA Safety
Safety is our top priority. To help our members improve productivity and keep workers safe, we’ve compiled some of the industry’s top resources. From virtual safety training to technical manuals, Bay Area SMACNA offers its members the following and more:
ClickSafety
This interactive safety resource has more than 300 online safety courses, including HAZWOPER, OSHA 10, OSHA 30, harassment training and custom site-specific general industry courses.
Harassment Training
To satisfy the new California law requirements, Bay Area SMACNA offers various training options to member firms. All California employers have an affirmative duty to take reasonable steps to prevent harassment in the workplace and to promptly correct harassment if it does occur.
CPR Training
Bay Area SMACNA provides CPR and First Aid Training for Contractor Member Firms. Member Firms who host their own CPR and basic first aid training and certification course $60 for each manager, office professional and Local 104 member who attend this 4-hour safety training.
Forklift Training
We’re proud to offer a comprehensive one-day course for members to establish an “in-house” forklift training program. The course focuses on the OSHA training regulations, how they affect your company and how to comply with the new standards.
