Sean O'Donoghue

Sean joined Bay Area SMACNA in 2012. He has spent his entire career in the construction industry representing both labor and management. For the past 20 years, Sean has represented management in dispute resolution, contract negotiations, Taft-Hartley Trust Funds and management advocacy. Sean graduated from Sacramento State in 1999 with a degree in industrial psychology.

Kathy de Jong

Labor Relations Manager

For more than 15 years, Kathy partnered with SMACNA and other construction related firms as a consultant. She officially joined the Bay Area team in 2017. She has a B.A. in government at CSU Sacramento and a M.A. in organizational management and development at Fielding Graduate University. She is an avid skier and enjoys traveling and volunteering in her community.

Vickie Constantinides

Membership and Events Manager

Vickie joins us as the new Membership and Events Manager. She is responsible for Bay Area SMACNA's contractor and associate memberships, and is project manager for all education and safety training, chapter programs and events. An Atlanta transplant who graduated fom Georgia State university with a B.A. in management, Vickie is a high energy people-person. On her time off, Vickie can be found adventuring out with her family to look for fun experiences and try new things.

Kelly Avila

Financial Administrator

Kelly has been with Bay Area SMACNA since August 2001. She is responsible for accounting, payroll, hours reporting, admin/HR support and bookkeeping. Outside of work Kelly enjoys time with family and friends, watching the Warriors and loves to take her beagle Levi on walks and weekend adventures.

Liz Heaney

Marketing and Communications Coordinator

Liz joined Bay Area SMACNA in September of 2021. She is kept busy coordinating the marketing and communications of the Bay Area Chapter's activities, conventions, educational programs and industry opportunities that impact our members and provide value for the public. When Liz is not working you can find her traveling, volunteering or attending activies with her family.
