2008 Summer Intern Program
Thank you for your interest in participating in the Bay Area SMACNA 2008
Summer Intern Program which will run from May 1, 2008 – September 30, 2008.
We will have many intern positions in the East Bay, South Bay, North Bay,
the Peninsula, and San Francisco areas.
The Bay Area SMACNA Summer Intern Program is an excellent employment
opportunity, as well as a way to introduce students to the different
careers available in the various specialties of the construction
industry. Our career opportunities include construction management,
estimating, engineering, project management, purchasing, design-build,
architecture, accounting, office administration and shop and field construction.
The minimum rate of pay for the Intern Program is $10.00 per hour.
All applicants need to be 16 years of age. Interns hired under the
age of 18 will need to obtain a work permit from school.
